Dr. Drayton R. Justus Jr., age 89, of Pemberville, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Otterbein Senior Living, Pemberville, Ohio. He was born on July 2, 1932, to Drayton and Lillian (Wentz) Justus Sr., in Hendersonville, North Carolina. On July 7, 1975, he married Sue Ann Himebaugh, in Toledo. Drayton and Sue Ann celebrated 46 years of marriage together.

Luke B. Schoenlein, 88, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on October 25, 2021, after a four-year heroic battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his five remaining children, as he joined his wife and daughter in heaven.

Lorene Mae Searfoss, 95, of Perrysburg, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021, at Otterbein Pemberville SeniorLife Community. Lorene was born August 22, 1926, in Twelve Mile, Indiana, to Harry and Ethel (Hoover) Mathias. Lorene married Merritt Lee Searfoss on December 12, 1948, and together they shared 71 years together until he passed on May 10, 2020.

WILLIAM DONALD “DON” LIEDER

Don Lieder went with our Lord to a place free of pain and suffering at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, on October 20, 2021, nine days before his 91st birthday. Don was renowned for his corny jokes. Everyone remembers at least one silly joke that Don loved to tell. Making people smile and laugh made him happy, as he always lived on the “sunny side of the street.” Don was a kind, generous, loving soul, who will be greatly missed.

JOHN S. DVORACK

John S. Dvorack, 65, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, from pancreatic and liver cancer. Born March 19, 1956, to Albert (Al) and Catherine (Lois) Nycz Dvorack, he grew up in the Bowling Green area. A 1974 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and three years study at the University of Toledo, his entire working career was in the law enforcement field. He began his employment with the Ohio State Highway Patrol as an equipment technician and served as dispatcher at the former patrol post on Airport Highway and district headquarters in Findlay. He continued his studies and became a police officer and served at the Perrysburg Township Police Department. In retirement, he worked part-time as a police dispatcher with the University of Toledo Police Department and City of Maumee.
