Donald T. Underwood, age 98, of Perrysburg, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. He was born on March 6, 1926, to Desso T. and Marcella C. (Westbeld) Underwood in Woodville. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He later would marry Lavonne Peoples in Pemberville, on August 6, 1949. Together they raised a son and daughter and celebrated more than 63 years of marriage.

Shirley A. (Artz) Bettinger, 89 of Perrysburg, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born at home in Perrysburg, on October 6, 1934, to Ralph J. and Edna (Hahn) Artz. She married her husband, Thomas A. Bettinger on November 5, 1955, at Zoar Lutheran Church, where she was a lifelong member. Shirley and Tom spent almost 65 years together until his passing in 2020.

Helen Schuster Bernard, 95, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was born on February 24, 1929, in Perrysburg, in the Community Hospital. She was the first baby girl born at the hospital and was known around town as “Little Miss Community.” Helen was the daughter of Edmund E. and Alice (Dibling) Schuster. She attended St. Rose Elementary and was a graduate of St. Ursula Academy.

Steven R. Clark, 76, of Perrysburg, died peacefully on February 29, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Hays, Kansas, on June 10, 1947, to Ruth Ladene (Rouse) and Richard Clark. Steven married Laura Lenning on June 26, 1971, and they were married for 30 years until her passing on October 21, 2001.

The Lord blessed us with the gift of Dale Ebersole for 84 years, before calling him to heaven on Saturday, March 23, 2024, while at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Findlay on November 17, 1939, to William Dale and Ruth (Meyer) Ebersole.

Gary Wayne Kazmaier, age 71, of Monclova, passed away March 22, 2024, at his home. For his departure, he was surrounded by his loving family.

Alliene (Ham) Sabo, age 92, passed away March 27, 2024, surrounded by love at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was a resident of Perrysburg, born November 8, 1931, to Donald and Blanche (Pennington) Ham.

Reverend Christopher Burt Morton died March 18, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was born April 3, 1961, and lived in Cranford, New Jersey, for the first 13 years of his life.
