Bradley Kevin Mettert, 61, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully January 2, 2022, at Toledo Hospital surrounded by his loving family and close friends. He had acute respiratory distress syndrome brought on by COVID. Bradley was born September 11, 1960, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Dennis and Beverly (Ballard) Mettert. In 1983, while earning his associate degree in mechanical engineering technology at Northwest (Technical) State College, the dean of engineering, Ernie Weaver from the University of Toledo, paid the students a visit. He encouraged everyone to further their education and receive their bachelor’s degree. He received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology in March 1993. Bradley married his sweetie, Jennifer Diane Hodges, on August 6, 1988 and they shared 33 years together.

HARRY LIMMER

Harry Limmer, 84, of Perrysburg, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Harry was born March 8, 1937, in Toledo, Ohio, to Howard and Ellen (Swartz) Limmer. He married Jacqueline Handley on November 26, 1955, and they shared 66 amazing years together.

Angelina (Angie) Michelle Tammarine, age 55, peacefully graduated into heaven on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, following a brief hospitalization admission at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC). She was surrounded by family and friends during her complete hospital stay and at the time of her death.

GERRI A. NEILING

Gerri A. Neiling, 73, of Perrysburg, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital. Gerri was born on November 16, 1948, in Seguin, Texas, to Valentine Friesenhahn and Julia Sczech. She married Karl J. Neiling on August 23, 1969, and they shared 52 years together.

Janis Marie Higbie peacefully passed away at home on Sunday, December 5. Janis was born on February 11, 1932, in Toledo Ohio, to Nelson and Zena Franklin. She was an only child and fell in love with the love of her life, Merritt, at Centennial Terrace, and they have been married for more than 70 years. She enjoyed working at Jacobsons in the bedding department for more than 20 years. She loved her family, friends, shopping and Hershey bars. They lived a wonderful life together in Toledo and eventually on Otsego Lake. Memories of skiing and summers on the lake with family and friends will be cherished forever. Merritt and Janis later relocated to Perrysburg.

Doctor Ralph McLain Jones was born on a Sunday in a settlement alongside Caney Creek, which feeds into the Duck River some 50 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee; maintained his charming drawl for 67 years in Toledo, Ohio; and passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021, at Swan Creek Assisted Living with his beloved daughter and son-inlaw at his bedside. He was 94.

Alice Mae (Hatcher) Street, 91, of Temperance, Michigan, formerly of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family. Alice was born May 17, 1930, in Pemberton, West Virginia, to Walter Lee and Margaret (Crotty) Hatcher. She married William Street on May 27, 1950, and they shared 52 years together until he passed in December 2002.

David Charles Marriott, age 65, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on November 24, 2021, in Perrysburg. David was born February 14, 1956, in Toledo.

SHARON MATHERS BANNISTER

Sharon “Sheri” Mathers Bannister, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on December 4, 2021, at the young age of 79. She was born February 27, 1942, in Dublin, Ohio, to Ray and Martha (Thatcher) Mathers. She married Jerald “Jerry” Barnes Bannister in September of 1962 and they had two daughters and a son. To her children, she was “Mother Nature,” always taking them on adventures in the woods, by a lake or in the mountains.

Linda Pavia, 70, of Harsens Island, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Born June 13, 1950, to Dale and Geraldine (Myers) Kuhlman in Toledo, she was raised in Perrysburg. Linda graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1968. She was a member of marching band, concert band and a majorette during her high school years.
