HERMAN ROY LANZENBERGER

Herman Roy Lanzenberger, 89, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully, February 19, 2022, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, after a long courageous battle with myeloma. He was born July 22, 1932, in Wangen, Germany, to Aldebert and Adelheit “Heidi” (Bodenmiller) Lanzenberger. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He married Inge Kuckelkorn on October 29, 1955, and they shared 66 years together.

GUILLERMO JUSTO ROJAS (ALVAREZ)

Guillermo Justo Rojas (Alvarez), 81, of Toledo, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Addison Heights Health and Rehabilitation Center. Guillermo was born November 4, 1940, in Piura, Peru, to Miguel and Luza Rojas. In his 20’s, he earned a scholarship to study at Ohio State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business and master’s degree in agricultural economics.

Betty Lou Orendorff, 87, a long-time resident of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2022, in Canton, Georgia. Betty was born in Escanaba, Michigan, the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther Gehrman.

JAMES “JIM” ARTHUR REICHERT

James “Jim” Arthur Reichert, 70, of Perrysburg Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his family Sunday, February 6, 2022, at his home. He was born on May 17, 1951, in Toledo, Ohio, to Donald Russel and Shirley Mae (Hoover) Reichert. He married the love of his life, Theresa “Terri” Ann Marquette on July 9, 1977. They recently celebrated 44 years of marriage.

RICHARD C. SULLIVAN

Richard C. Sullivan, 84, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He was born at home in Toledo, on September 28, 1937, to parents John and Wilma (Barnes) Sullivan.

DONALD R. “DON” CREPS

Body
Donald R. “Don” Creps passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 97. He was born on January 27, 1925, to Raymond and Lottie (Schramm) Creps in Perrysburg, Ohio. Don grew up on the family farm, formerly located at the corner of Glenwood Road and State Route 795. He graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1942 and was later drafted into the U.S. Army in June of 1943, serving in World War II and was discharged in June 1946. Don continued his federal service, working for many years, beginning at the Rossford Ordinance Depot, continuing on to the Erie Army Depot and eventually retiring in 1980 from the Tank Automotive Command in Warren, Michigan.

John S. Meloy, 88, of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Waterford at Levis Commons. John was born January 29, 1934, in Orange, New Jersey, to William and Esther (Selby) Meloy. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army.

CHARLES DANA

Charles H. Dana, 82, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2021, in Lake Bluff, Illinois, surrounded by family. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, to Newton and Edith Dana on July 30, 1939. He moved to Darien, Connecticut, in 1954, where he met the love of his life, Ann Harper, and they were married on November 25, 1960. They shared 59 happy years together until the time of her passing in 2019.
