Kevin Chamberlin, of Perrysburg, passed away March 31, 2022 at his home in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on July 16, 1987,

Born on July 16, 1987, Kevin lived in Maumee until moving to Perrysburg when he was 4 years old, and spent the remainder of his youth in Perrysburg schools. He found a love for lacrosse when the sport came to Perrysburg High School, and played for the high school team for four years until his graduation in 2006.

During his time at Bowling Green State University, he was affectionately known to many as “Freshman.” The group of friends created during his years there became like family to him, and are among the many that will miss his quirky stories and never-ending antics.

Kevin was the keeper of all things trivia and could rattle off some of the most random facts, always proven to be correct. Kevin’s extensive knowledge of classic rock and the frustration we all faced when we couldn’t answer his pop culture questions are just a couple of the many things we will miss.

His other passions included playing drums, traveling and a deep love for his niece and nephews. He explored Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, and even lived in Australia for two years, and always brought back a little something for them when he returned. Kevin’s favorite spot to travel was the family cottage in Georgian Bay, Ontario, where he spent time kayaking with his dad on their many fishing trips together. He also was planning a trip to Ireland with his mom.

He loved the hospitality industry and inventing new cocktails for places he worked. Some of his favorites are still on the menu in Australia.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Mike Chamberlin; grandfather, Jim Chamberlin; grandmother, Patricia Strong; step-grandfather, Fred Strong, and grandfather, Robert Wood. He leaves behind his mother, Wendy Chamberlin; sisters, Melissa (Cody) Tyler and Katie (Mike) Logan; niece and nephews, Parker, Noah, Addy, Matthew and Ford; grandmother, Marg Chamberlin, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
