Summer rec program guide available online

The City of Perrysburg’s summer recreation program guide is now available online. Registration begins April 1 for residents and April 15 for non-residents (Perrysburg Township residents are considered non-residents).

Support Feed the 5000

During the Lenten season, Perrysburg Christians United calls upon the community to support the ministry by donating canned meat—stew, chicken, Spam, tuna, etc.—to be distributed to families in need at the food pantry. A selection of protein rich foods is important for a balanced diet. Residents and businesses in the area, including Perrysburg, Rossford and Walbridge areas, are welcome to participate in the project, which runs until Easter, March 31.

Free concert set for April 1

First Presbyterian Church, 200 East Broadway Street, Maumee, will host a Monday Musicale concert on Monday, April 1, at 1 p.m. Performers will be: organist Pamela Stover; singers Christiane Calmes and Meg Klopp with pianist Wayne Whitten; Claire Cho, piano; Hua Uyu, voice and Nolan Johnson, piano.

Meals offered every second Saturday

On the second Saturday of every month, warm meals to-go are provided by the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo and available at the Perrysburg Heights Community Center, 12282 Jefferson Street, Perrysburg.

Wolcott guild lecture series concludes March 28

The Wolcott House Museum Guild in conjunction with the Maumee Branch of the Lucas County Public Library, 501 River Road, presents amateur field archaeologist Mason Brown on Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. The lecture is free and open to the public.
