Justin T. Rossi was called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 31, 2026.

Justin was born on July 25, 1972, to parents who loved him dearly, Thomas A. Rossi and Joyce (Makley) Rossi, who both survive. Justin was a 1991 graduate of Elida High School, before attending the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a degree in construction management. Justin spent 35 years in Ohio, Indiana and Florida creating a career he loved and could take pride in, as well as cultivating numerous professional and personal friendships.

On December 16, 1995, Justin married the love of his life, Angela (Clum) Rossi, who survives, and spent more than 30 years making her happiness his priority, and he did it beautifully. Justin was not only an incredible husband, but also a loving and fiercely devoted father to his two amazing children, Maxwell Rossi of Columbus, Ohio, and Anabel Rossi of Nashville, Tennessee. Justin was the epitome of fatherhood; he was active, involved and present. He loved Max and Anabel immensely and would truly do anything possible for them. Seeing Max and Anabel blossom into amazing adults, both professionally and personally, brought him true happiness, and he would be so proud that his beautiful legacy continues to live on in both of them.

In addition to husband and father, Justin was a dedicated brother to Michael (Colleena) Rossi of Mt. Airy, Maryland, and David (Devon) Rossi of Mooresville, North Carolina. Justin absolutely adored his brothers and their families, and seeing them grow and succeed in life brought him immense joy and abundant pride. Justin also will be deeply missed by his extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Justin was simply hilarious and a consistent resort for comic relief at holidays and family vacations; he loved being with his family and brought laughter and fun to every moment.

Justin made friends wherever he went, there was just something uniquely incredible about him. His amazing smile could light up a room, while his quick wit and charm could fill it with laughter. Justin was not only a University of Cincinnati alumnus; he and Angela, as football season-ticket holders, especially loved game days in Clifton. Tailgating was an art to Justin, and he loved planning each one with his nephew, Dillon Risser, and friend, Ryan Murray; they ensured no one was leaving without good food, a cold drink and great fun. Justin had a love for life that was unmatched. He and Angela enjoyed traveling, especially when visiting friends Tate and Melissa Miller in Denver, Colorado. Justin and Angela also discovered a love of RV travel, in the last three years, that brought them many new experiences and amazing memories.

Justin was always so kind, and a blessing to those around him. As he has spent the last five years navigating health issues, he met with, shared his journey and prayed with many others experiencing similar issues. He has been a trusted mentor to others in his professional field and was known for his kindness and generosity. Justin loved Jesus and reading God’s Word, and was blessed to attend Oak Bend Church, in Perrysburg, which continued to deepen his faith and love of God.

In addition to his parents and brothers, Justin also is survived by Angela’s parents and siblings, and their families, all of whom he loved dearly: Barb Pace of Elida, Ohio; Mike (Susan) Clum of Elida; Brandon (Jenny) Blaine of Elida; Erica Blaine of Rock Hill, South Carolina; Mike (Kellie) Pace of Upland, Indiana; Cindy (Mark) Long of Elida, and Emily (Mike) Jones of Lima, Ohio.

Justin also leaves behind a legacy of lifelong friendships. Meeting their freshman and sophomore years at UC, a group of guys bonded by their love of being goofy and having fun, turned into 35 years of the most amazing friendships anyone could ever hope for in life: Bill (Margo) Bondar of Avon Lake, Ohio; Eric (Jennifer) Kramer of Columbus, Ohio; Keith Roberts of Los Angeles, California, and Shawn Mayhew of Hendersonville, Tennessee, thank you for the endless laughter and love.

Justin was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Melissa Blaine; father-inlaw, James A. Pace; as well as grandparents, Max (Anne) Makley and Harry (Jean) Rossi, John (Connie) Clum and Oris (Marion) Hemphill.

Justin’s Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, August 29, from 3 to 6 p.m., at Corner Pins at Casa Lu Al, Second Floor, 147 South Main Street, Lima.
