David Paul Empie, 63, of Perrysburg, passed away June 24, 2021, at his home. He worked for many years at GM Powertrain, then went on to start his own awards and engraving business, All Star Trophy, for 11 years. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus No. 7978. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Patricia (Regulski) Empie. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Laura; children, Karen (Jason) and Glen (Jessica); granddaughters, Scarlett and Magnolia; brothers, Douglas and Robert (Melissa), and 12 nieces and nephews.

Friends and family were received Monday, June 28, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, June 29, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg. Burial was private.
