Richard William Hazle was born April 12, 1927 and died February 7, 2025. He lived vigorously and died gently, just short of his 98th birthday.

He is pre-deceased by his wife, Barbara (née Locke); his son, Tom (Judy), and four siblings. He is survived by his brother, Chuck (Diane); his son, Chris (Judy); daughter, Nancy (Phil Cary); son, Randy (Sherry), and daughters, Laura and Judy, plus numerous loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at Swan Creek Ohio Living, 5916 Cresthaven Lane, Toledo.

The hospice team at Ohio Living Hospice, 1730 South Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio 43614, was faithful in following his wishes. The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s name would be made to this office. Thank you.
