JoEm Fodor Seibenick, age 79, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2024, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born on March 2, 1945, to Joseph and Emma Fodor.
JoEm graduated from Devilbiss High School in 1963, where she showcased her talents as a dancer in the DeViltries. She furthered her education at the University of Toledo, earning an associate degree in business and dancing with the Rockettes. JoEm dedicated 14 years of her career to Owens Illinois, working as a secretary in patent law, environmental, industrial relations and human resources, before contributing 30 more years at Owens Corning.
In 1969, JoEm married David Seibenick. She cherished her time at her beloved cottage in Pearson, Michigan, and enjoyed traveling with her partner and companion, Dennis Grieve, until his passing in 2019. JoEm had a special love for her pets: her dogs, Baxter, Taxi and Frances, and her cat, Max.
JoEm is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Leigh) Seibenick, and granddaughter, Lennox JoEm Seibenick.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 South Reynolds Road, Toledo, on Friday, August 2, from 10 a.m. until the time of her Memorial Service at noon. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s, the Lung Cancer Association, the Humane Society or Paws and Whiskers.
