MARY LOIS CREMER

Body
Mary Lois Cremer, 88, of Waterville and formerly of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, in hospice after living with Parkinson’s Syndrome for nearly three years. She was born in Bucyrus, on September 12, 1934, to the late Milton and Pearl (Clady) Rothhaar. Mary spent her youth in Bucyrus, graduating from Bucyrus High School in 1952, where she was a cheerleader and a band head majorette. After graduation, she moved to California for a short time before returning to Bucyrus, where she met her husband, M. David Cremer. They were married on June 3, 1956.

ANTHONY DOUGLAS PARRISH

Anthony Douglas Parrish, 56, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, at Mercy Health-Perrysburg Hospital. He was born in Toledo, on October 22, 1966. Thirty six years later he met and married the love of his life on March 20, 2002.

RENEE M. MORELOCK

Renee M. Morelock died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 26, 2023. She was born to her parents, Robert and Jacqueline (Hess) Busch in Toledo, on November 5, 1949. She and her siblings grew up in Perrysburg Township and the Rossford area, and she graduated from Rossford High School in 1967. She met her future husband, Joseph Morelock, through a group of friends and she married him, the love of her life, in July of 1968.

JOYCE GILTS

Joyce Gilts, 91, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the Manor of Perrysburg. Joyce was born in Ames, Iowa, July 3, 1932, to Edwin N. and Alberta (Davis) Kennedy. She graduated from Charles City High School, Charles City, Iowa, in 1950.

LeROY “LEE” W. ODEGAARD

LeRoy “Lee” W. Odegaard passed away at the age of 88 on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Lee was born in Fesseden, North Dakota, to Roy and Florence Odegaard on February 21, 1935. Raised on a farm, he was the oldest of four children. From a young age he worked to help his family and save money to attend Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He met the love of his life, Janice “Jan,” during an audition for the renowned Concordia Choir. Jan fell for the tall handsome young man bedecked in white corduroy pants as she watched him discover his name as a bass and hers as an alto. Their first date was on a choir tour in Denver, 1953. Lee had a powerful, expressive voice. He was frequently asked to sing at churches and events, frequently with Jan and at times with his entire family.

SHIRLEY “GINGER” HAAR

On August 22, 2023, Shirley “Ginger” Haar passed away from leukemia (AML). She was married to James Haar for 28 years. She was a loving mother to Jennifer Biegala (Bill) and stepmother to Jennifer Haar. She also was a grandmother to Chris (Kyle), Jon (Alicia) and James (Amber), and great-grandmother to six children. Ginger didn’t believe family was defined by blood and was called Mom by daughter, Jan, and son, Jason, and sister to John.

EARL “PRINTY” ARTHUR

On August 4, 2023, Earl “Printy” Arthur passed from this life into the outstretched arms of the Almighty Creator and of his wife, Jo Ann. Printy was born in Sherwood, Ohio, in 1924, to Methodist minister Reverend Edward Lowell and Edith Printy Arthur.

Judson Porter Spore Jr., formerly of Sandusky as well as Huron and Perrysburg, Ohio, was born January 17, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Judson P. Spore Sr. and Ruth E. Spore, née Knapp, and passed August 4, 2023.

Ryan Springer passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 11, 2023. Ryan was born August 9, 1980, to Branch and Jackie Springer.

Carolyn Sarver, 80, passed peacefully in her sleep on August 14, 2023, surrounded by family. She was born April 29, 1943, to Clarence and Evelyn Saunders.
