Betty Jane (Loew) Falkenstein, 77, was called to Heaven peacefully and surrounded by her family on March 14, 2021. She was born August 3, 1943, to Edward and Helen Loew, as the elder sister of David (Sandy) Loew, Robert (Karen) Loew and Thomas (Dawn) Loew. On February 13, 1965, she wed her husband of 56 years, Neal W. Falkenstein, originally from Sturgis, Michigan.

On Sunday, February 21, 2021, Jennifer “Jen” (Rawson) Pizza passed away unexpectedly of COVID pneumonia at the age of 45, in her Takoma Park, Maryland home. She was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 15, 1975, the daughter of Michael and Susan Rawson.

Eleanor Harms, 87, of Columbus, Ohio (formerly of Perrysburg) passed away peacefully on March 4, 2021; her husband of 63 years, Eugene, by her side. Eleanor was born in 1934 to Charles and Agnes Fuerst in Toledo, Ohio.

Janet Rae (Barber) Armbruster, 93, was called home to her Lord on Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the Kingston Residence in Perrysburg. She was born January 24, 1928, to Chester and Ruth (Miller) Barber. In addition to her parents, Jan is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jo Sherman (Coltrain).

James E. Podiak, 78, of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Toledo Hospital. James was born December 14, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, to Edward and Sally (Adamczeski) Podiak. He graduated from Rossford High School and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University. He married Janet E. Biniker on June 11, 1966. They spent 54 wonderful years together and raised two daughters in Perrysburg.

Peter Rankin Orser, 92, rejoined the “Big Picture” on February 22, 2021, at home in Perrysburg with his daughter by his side and his beloved friends and caretakers, Brenda Tifft, Ronda Benschoter and Randy McCarthy, who filled his last years with happiness and devotion.

Laurence C. Klein, 78, of Perrysburg, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021, at McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital. He was born June 6, 1942, in Streator, Illinois, to Carl and Virginia (Kilby) Klein. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth Ann Arrigo, on November 11, 1967, and they shared 54 years together.

Clyde Straley Givens Jr., 86, of Daleville, Virginia, passed away February 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Straley Givens Sr. and Vinnie Pearl Montgomery; brother, Clarence Brown Givens.
