Robert “Bob” Mericle, 75, of Perrysburg, passed away in the early morning of Sunday, August 2, 2020, his family with him at his bedside. He was born March 5, 1945, to Ralph and Hazel (Holcomb) Mericle. Bob graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1963, where in addition to playing football and running track, he became one of the first Northern Lakes League wrestling champions for the school. Upon graduating, he would attend Stout State College before being drafted into the Army, where he was stationed in Mt. Feldberg, Germany, as a Signal Corps SPEC 5. Here, in the Black Forest, he met and fell in love with Renate Hedwig Dahms and they married in 1969.
Robert “Bobby” Lyons died on July 23 in Arlington, Virginia, at the age of 83.
Polly Woolsey-Gaul, 96, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, July 28. She was born November 11, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio. A childhood polio survivor, she went on to graduate from Lakewood High School and Lindenwood College in Missouri.
On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, Linda Sue Sworden, aged 64, of Bowling Green, Ohio, went to be with our Heavenly Father surrounded by her family at Bridge Hospice in Bowling Green.
Richard (Rich) Sherman, 78, of Perrysburg, Ohio, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2020.
