William (Bill) L. Bockelman, age 84, of Rossford, passed away on May 7, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, surrounded by love. He was born February 26, 1940, to Louis and Lucille (Kohn) Bockelman.
Bill graduated from Waite High School in 1959. After high school, Bill worked various jobs and then found his niche in construction. Bill also was known for being an avid hunter. He and friends made many trips to his favorite hunting spot in Davis, West Virginia. He loved these trips and made many memories there with his hunting friends.
Later in life, Bill owned and operated Bock’s Place Bar in Rossford. This would be where you would find Bill enjoying conversations and catching up on the latest gossip with friends. He enjoyed his euchre tournaments and watching his favorite football teams (OSU Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns). Bill also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Robin, and hitting any casinos around.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Holley Bockelman, Kristie (Nick) Huber; son, William (Jessica) Bockelman; stepchildren, Rachel (Todd) Eckel and Joseph (Amber) Archambeau; brother, James (Pauline) Bockelman, along with many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his parents and his wife, Roberta (Robin) Bockelman.
