Ryan Springer passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 11, 2023. Ryan was born August 9, 1980, to Branch and Jackie Springer.

Ryan graduated from Perrysburg High School and attended Bowling Green State University. He enjoyed hiking and adventure, and had a thirst for knowledge. His life at times could be chaotic, but he is now at peace.

Ryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, and an aunt and uncle. He is survived by his daughters, Raina and Mayzie Sue Springer; his parents, Branch and Jackie Springer; his brother, Nick (Diana) Springer, and their children, Aurora, Oliver and Sterling. He also is survived by his aunts, uncles and their children, and his partner, Alexis Lyman Peregoy. Ryan will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Friends and family will be received Friday, August 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. Visitation will continue Saturday, August 26, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 East Indiana Avenue, Perrysburg, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ryan’s name to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, 27 Moorish Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43604; The Zepf Center, 6605 West Central Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43617, or Zoar Lutheran Church Foundation Operating Fund.
