Mark J. Gorman, 63, of Perrysburg, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on May 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Mark was born September 2, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio, to James and Margaret (Cook) Gorman. He was a lifelong Perrysburg resident, graduating from Perrysburg High School in 1976 and Bowling Green State University in 1981. Mark married Debra Crooks on October 8, 1983, and they shared 37 wonderful years together.

Mark worked as an insurance agent for many years. He was an active member of the Perrysburg Kiwanis and Maumee-BG Elks #1850. Mark was an avid golfer, enjoyed music and reading, and loved spending time with his family and several lifelong friends. Some of his most cherished memories were of golf trips with dearest friends Mike, Charlie and Jake, and vacationing with family and friends annually in Ocean City, New Jersey.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; children, Ashley Gorman and Ryan (Rebecka) Gorman; father-in-law, Harry Crooks; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Gary) Wadlow and Cynthia (John) Credell, and niece, Elizabeth (Mike) Van Kuiken. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Maurice; mother-in-law, Virginia Crooks, and nephew, Daniel Lowry III.

Services for Mark will be private. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133).
