Laura Zirke, 90 years old, of Perrysburg, passed away on June 3, 2024.

Laura was born on November 14, 1933, to Ethel and Elmer Kraus in Cleveland, Ohio.

After finishing high school, she started a job as a court reporter and soon married Paul R. Zirke. They began their family and moved to Perrysburg, where they raised Paula, Tim, Jenny, Jeff and Lisa. Laura worked as a nursery school teacher for more than 30 years, enjoying hobbies such as sewing, gardening, reading and playing the piano. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Perrysburg for many years. Laura was devoted to her family and friends.

Laura was predeceased by her husband, Paul; brother, Don, as well as great-grandson, Gage.

She is survived by her brother, Raymond Kraus; all five of her children, Paula, Timothy, Jennifer, Jeffrey and Lisa; grandchildren, Tonya Zirke, Timothy Zirke and Wesley Little; great-grandchildren, Hailey McGowan, Lincoln and Olivia Jenkins, Waylon Zirke, and great-granddaughter, Ellie Jade.

A memorial service will be held for immediate family members only.
