Joan Elizabeth Schorling passed away at the age of 80, on October 18, 2023, at St.

Clare Commons in Perrysburg. She was born January 25, 1943, in Lima, Ohio, to Robert T. and Elenor L. Roffee. She graduated from Shawnee High School and Northwestern School of Commerce in Lima.

Joan retired from both Owens Corning Fiberglas and the University of Toledo Medical College after many years of dedicated work as an administrative assistant. In addition to professional accomplishments, she cherished annual vacations to Ft.

Myers Beach and Sanibel Island, Florida.

Throughout her childhood and adult life, Joan enjoyed summers and weekends at the Roffee Family cottage at Vineyard Lake near Brooklyn, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Richard L. Schorling, and sister, Pamela Radulovich of Lima. She is survived by her sister, Roberta R.

(Gene) Palmer of Perrysburg; brother-in-law, Steve Radulovich of Lima; niece, Holly (Christian) Schubert of Perrysburg; nephew, Edward Amstutz of Columbus; niece, Randi (Casey) Myers of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; nephew, Adam (Kimberly) Radulovich of Galena, Ohio; nephew, Brett (Laura) Radulovich of Upper Arlington, Ohio; four grand-nieces, and four grand-nephews.
