GERALDINE “GERRY” F. McGUE

Geraldine “Gerry” F. McGue, 96, of Perrysburg and formerly of Stony Ridge, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, at ProMedica Perrysburg, formerly Heartland. She was born on March 24, 1926, to Glen and Opal (Ziegler) Heller in Tiffin. Gerry graduated valedictorian in 1944 from Pemberville High School. On April 21, 1950, she married Frank McGue in Pemberville. Gerry and Frank celebrated 19 years of marriage, until Frank’s passing in 1969.

Gerry was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg. She was a generous philanthropist to many charities. In her free time, she enjoyed going to beading class and making necklaces. In her younger years, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, Frank.

Left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Don (Sharilyn) Wagoner, Brian (Tracee) Wagoner and Kris (Melissa) Wagoner, all of Perrysburg, and Kristi Wagoner of Batavia, Ohio. She also is survived by numerous greatcousins. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was preceded in death by her parents and cousin, Mark Wagoner.

Friends and family will be received from 9 to 11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 19, at Marsh and Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville. Officiating will be Rev. Kathryn Rivera-Torea. Interment will be in Pemberville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg.
