•DOROTHY STANTON Dorothy Stanton, 94, of Waterville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024, following a brief illness. She was a prominent member of the Perrysburg and Waterville communities. She was a member of Waterville UMC and past member of Grace Church Perrysburg.

She and husband, Al, taught many classes at Way Public Library called, “Telling your Life Story.” Dorothy had a lifetime career as a nurse and social worker.

Friends and family will be received Wednesday, October 9, from 2 to 7 p.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. Visitation will continue on Thursday, October 10, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., at Waterville UMC, 7115 Waterville-Monclova Road, where funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery.
