Brian Boyce, age 34, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a family and community who loved him deeply. His sudden passing has created an immeasurable loss for all who knew him.

Brian was a graduate of Perrysburg High School and the Ohio State University. Over the last four years, he made his home in Florida, where he enjoyed the sunshine, beaches and coastal lifestyle that brought him so much happiness.

Brian was known for his kind heart, loyal friendship and the joy he brought to those around him. He loved music, basketball and spending time outdoors. He especially enjoyed the beaches of the Carolinas and Florida, where he found peace, happiness and some of his favorite memories. Whether spending time with friends and family, enjoying nature or sharing laughter and stories, Brian made every moment meaningful.

He will be remembered for his caring spirit, his love for those closest to him and the countless memories he created with the people he cherished most. Brian’s presence brought comfort, laughter and strength to many, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

Brian is survived by his mother, Laurie O'Malley and her husband, Russ Janson; his father, David Boyce and his wife, Karen Kinzig; his brother, David Boyce and his wife, Jenny Boyce; his beloved niece, Eliza Boyce; his step-sister, Beth Janson; his uncle and aunt, Doug and Vanessa Boyce; his uncles, Gary O’Malley and Dan O’Malley, and many loving first and second cousins, including Jodi, Bobby, Zoe, Owen, Kelly, Cori, Stan, Stephanie, Greg, Aidan and Jason.

Brian’s memory will forever be treasured by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date.
