War memorial at Hood Park.
In Hood Park, adjacent to Commodore Perry’s statue on Front Street, is the War memorial. It was constructed in 2008 under the auspices of Perrysburg American Legion Post 28.
Engraved on this monument are the names of hometown veterans who gave their life in the service of their country. The names begin with those lost in World War I and end at the Gulf War.
