Seventy years is a long time to spend with someone, yet Al and Dorothy Stanton seem as delighted as newlyweds to be together.

Recently, their children organized a surprise re-commitment ceremony for the couple, which included vows, happy tears, a party and lots of love.

“Eric McGlade, the minister from First Church of Perrysburg, performed our celebration,” Mrs. Stanton said.
