Habitat for Humanity of Wood County invites community members and local businesses to support affordable housing through three opportunities now underway: the Drone Drop Fundraiser, sponsorship opportunities for the Hard Hats & High Heels Gala, and ticket sales for the organization’s signature fundraising event. The first opportunity is the Habitat Drone Drop Fundraiser, scheduled for June 29 at 7:30 p.m. at Fallen Timbers Fairways. Participants can purchase entries for $20 each for a chance to win while supporting Habitat's mission of helping local families achieve safe and affordable homeownership. Winners do not need to be present to claim prizes.

In addition, Habitat is currently seeking sponsors for its 2026 Hard Hats & High Heels Gala, which will take place September 18 at the Hilton Garden Inn at Levis Commons in Perrysburg. Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 Foundation Builder sponsorships to the premier Raise the Roof Champion sponsorship at $10,000. Sponsorship benefits include event recognition, social media exposure, website visibility, networking opportunities and participation in one of the area’s premier philanthropic events.

The Hard Hats & High Heels Gala serves as Habitat for Humanity of Wood County’s largest annual fundraising event and brings together community leaders, businesses, volunteers and supporters to help build strength, stability and self-reliance through homeownership.
