Charlotte Audrey Stevens Schwind Atrosh passed away on April 26, 2026, in Bradenton, Florida, with her daughters nearby. She was born on October 7, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, and spent her formative years in Perrysburg.
Charlotte graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1957.
Charlotte lived a quiet and simple life, devoted to her family. As a stay-at-home mother during her children’s early years, she created a warm and nurturing home filled with home-cooked meals, hand-sewn clothes and cherished memories of side yard picnics and beach outings. She was always present for her children’s activities, including attending football games to chaperoning Girl Scout trips. Charlotte was skilled in knitting and crochet, enjoyed crossword puzzles and had a talent for playing the accordion. She also found joy in country music and watching NASCAR.
Later in life, after marrying the late Brian Atrosh, Charlotte embraced the outdoors. Some of her happiest moments were spent camping and fishing with Brian after they purchased a camper.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Tami (Bob) Sharpin, Teri (Harry) Preston and Debi Schwind. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons, John and Scott, as well as her grandson, Joshua. We will miss her dearly.
