Rebecca Lynn Shiple, 70, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, faith and love for her family and community.

Born on January 26, 1956, in Bowling Green, Rebecca was the beloved daughter of Marvin and Betty Joanne Mutchler. She grew up on Five Point Road with her five siblings—Jim, Tim, Karen, Sue and Nancy.

In 1972, Rebecca married Jeff Shiple, and together they welcomed two children, Pete and Kristina. She later moved to Arizona, where she raised her family in Buckeye and became actively involved in both her church and community. Rebecca was known for her kind, giving, and forgiving spirit. She found joy in serving others, supporting her family and making a positive impact on those around her.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Betty Joanne Mutchler; her brothers, Jim and Tim, and her sister, Sue.

She is survived by her loving children, Pete (Andrea) Shiple and Kristina (Brett) Sheppard; her companion of 35 years, Tom; her sisters, Karen and Nancy; her four grandchildren, and her three great-grandchildren.

Rebecca’s life was a testament to compassion, faith and dedication to family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched.
