Barbara Ann (Hinesman) Miller, 83, of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, formerly of Perrysburg, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2025.
She is survived by her daughters, Jenny Kemnitz and Jean McMahon; grandchildren, Blues, Carmina Marley and Izzy McMahon, and her nephew, Mike Crist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Miller; her sister, Caroll Allison; her parents, Cecil and Chloris Hinesman, and her nephew, Kurt Crist.
She will be remembered for her love of knitting, quilting and sewing. She shared generously with others through handmade gifts that will continue to warm homes and hearts. She had a spirit that many found to be both kind and funny, and she leaves behind fond memories of laughter and companionship with those whose lives she touched.
No services will be held at the present time due to the distant location of family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society in her honor. Arrangements entrusted to Ball Funeral Chapel, Inc.
Gretchen M. Blevins, age 73, of Perrysburg, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born Gretchen Lewis on February 20, 1952, in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania, to John H. and Elizabeth M. (Johnston) Lewis. On February 1, 1975, she married the love of her life, Darrel W. Blevins, in St. Louis, Missouri. Gretchen and Darrel raised two children and celebrated over 48 years of marriage until Darrel’s passing in 2023.
Gretchen worked as a registered nurse, most notably for St. Luke’s Hospital 17 plus years. She was a woman of great faith and was an active member of St. Rose Catholic Church. Gretchen’s ministries included president of the Altar Rosary Sodality, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion and led many Bible studies, just to name a few. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and playing card and board games. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Gretchen is survived by her children, Beth Turner of Swanton, John (Diana Murillo) Blevins of El Paso, Texas, and stepdaughter, Michelle Blevins of Toledo; grandchildren, Adrian, Ray and Shelby Turner, also Byron Blevins, and siblings, Barbara, Peg, Darlene, John, Stephanie and Christopher. In addition to her husband, Darrel, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Timothy Lewis.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Rosary Service at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 3, at the Marsh and Marsteller Funeral Home, 110 West Main Street, Luckey. Rosary will be recited by Deacon Thomas Wray. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 4, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 Front Street, Perrysburg. Celebrant will be Fr. George Wenzinger. Gretchen will be laid to rest next to Darrel in a Committal Service in St. Rose Cemetery, Perrysburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to The Make a Wish Foundation or St. Rose Catholic Church.
