•TODD WOOD It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd Wood, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, who departed this life surrounded by his family on Friday May 23, 2025, at the age of 62.
Todd was a devoted husband to Pamela Wood for 40 years, with whom he shared a life full of love, laughter and enduring partnership. Together, they raised a beautiful family who brought him immense pride and joy. He cherished attending all of his children and grandchildren’s activities and was proud of their success.
He was a cherished father to three children, Krystal (Mike) Pleitz, Andrew (Suni) Wood and Kaytlin (John) Zartman. He adored his role as a grandfather to nine grandchildren— Big Gavin, Gavin, Madilyn, Garret, Mason, Grayden, Rylee, Madden and Charlee —each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Todd Wood also is survived by his father, Tom Wood, and his sister, Trina (Jim Wise) Wood; motherin- law, Rita Hullstrung; sister-in-law, Kim (Dan) Dent, and brother-in-law, Roger Hullstrung. His memory will be carried on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Wood; father-in-law, Roger Hullriage strung, and his grandparents.
Todd had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel especially to southern Ohio and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. He loved being a spectator and sprint car races. A fan of the band KISS, Todd enjoyed rocking out to heavy metal.
He will be remembered for his warm spirit, his unwavering love for his family and his quiet strength. Todd touched many lives and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and love.
Family and friends visited Wednesday, May 28, from 2 to 8 p.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street. A service to celebrate his life was held on Thursday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ft. Meigs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Victory Center, in his honor.
