Patrick Allan Stein, born January 6, 1967, passed December 28, 2024 at the age of 57, in his loving wife’s arms and holding his daughter’s hand. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Stein; his three children, Ryan (Natalie), Michael (Brittney) and Savannah Stein; his five grandchildren, Kylie, Hunter, Cameron, Theodore and Ethan; his siblings, Donna Thomas, Michael (Sandra) Stein, Linda (Charles) Hablitzel and Mary Jo (Sally) Jaggers, as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marilyn Stein, and his sister, Sandra Stein.

Patrick was raised in Perrysburg and graduated with the Class of 1985. He began his career working as a general manager at Chi-Chi’s Mexican Restaurant, where he met his wife of 32 years. He loved to cook and even spent time as a chef in a French bakery. He later started his own carpet cleaning business, Floor Care Plus, where he enjoyed working with all of his children. Most recently, he worked as a sheriff’s deputy in the Wood County Sheriff’s auxiliary. It was always his dream to serve his community in this way and his family is grateful that he could achieve it.

He had a passion for camping, classic rock and began gardening last spring. Patrick had a fantastic sense of humor from dad jokes to harmless pranks on family members, he was sure to make everyone around him laugh. He also was always looking for ways to help others, whether that was stopping to help in traffic accidents, taking students to the soup kitchen or simply being there when he was needed.

A viewing was held in his honor on January 7, from 9 to 10 a.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. A Funeral Mass followed at 10:30 a.m., at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg. Burial was private.
