Here is the history of the bell and how it came to be located in the municipal building. The bell is from the old Grace Evangelical Church that once stood at 331 East Second Street.
The Evangelical Church in Perrysburg was covered by circuit riders from the Sandusky Circuit in the 1830s.
Among the first members of the Perrysburg church were Jacob Hufford and his wife Catherine.
