Pamela (Pam) Devolder Swanson, 73, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully Friday, August 2, 2024, at Kingston, under the care of Hospice. Pam was born February 13, 1951, in Perrysburg, in the old Perrysburg Hospital, to Maurice and Pauline (Cartier) Devolder.

She had a catholic education beginning at St. Rose in Perrysburg and continued at McAuley High School in Toledo, and graduated in 1969. Pam married Lloyd

Swanson on April 28, 1973, at St. Rose Church in Perrysburg and they shared 51 years together.

She spent most of her career as the office manager at the family practice of Fraser, Baldoni, Domini and Schneider, and then continued at Perrysburg Pediatrics with Dr. Carol Kennedy and Dr. Jon Dvorak.

Pam was known for her sense of humor and ability to talk to anyone. She took great pride in being born and raised in Perrysburg and was a walking directory of the town. She enjoyed family time and loved watching her grandchildren take part in activities and play sports. She loved raising boxers and you would often see her walking them around Perrysburg. Pam will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mansfield, Ohio, Patricia Levey of Ottawa Hills, Penny Devolder of Montana and Mike (Alison) Devolder of Arizona; brother-in-law, Gary (Linda) of Michigan; sister-in-law, Gaye (Mark) of New Jersey, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, greatnieces and nephews.

Friends and family were received Monday, August 5, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, where funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 6, at noon. Burial will be private and held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the kindhearted aides, nurses and doctors at Kingston of Perrysburg, where she spent her last two years, for their unconditional care and support.
