Steven Francis Tuttle, born on April 20, 1956, in Toledo, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2024, in Chesaning, Michigan. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m., on August 3, at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Jennings~ Lyons Chapel, 520 West Main Street, Owosso, Michigan. The family will receive friends beginning at 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Steven’s early life in Ohio, where he was born to Francis Marion and Patti Ann (Gempel) Tuttle, laid the foundation for a lifetime of cherished memories and strong family ties. He grew up surrounded by his loving siblings, Sherri (Mark) Legler, Barbara (David) Vane, John (Lisa) Tuttle, Mark (Lori) Tuttle, Jennifer Tuttle and Joan (Jamie) Brusso. His journey through life was marked by the bonds he formed with each of them, bonds that remained steadfast through the years. Sadly, Steven was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Paula (Ken) Reideman and Nanci (Ed) Grzesiak.
A graduate of Perrysburg High School, Steven carried with him the lessons and friendships he made during those formative years throughout his entire life. He went on to build a career at Hostess and Wonder Bread Foods, where his dedication and work ethic were evident to all who worked alongside him.
Steven’s love for the great outdoors was more than a pastime; it was a passion he eagerly shared with his beloved children, Amanda and Tyler Tuttle. He instilled in them an appreciation for nature’s beauty, whether it was the simple pleasure of a walk through the woods or the thrill of reeling in a fish from a stream.
Steven found great happiness in traveling to Michigan every weekend, a tradition that kept the family bond strong.
He navigated life’s ups and downs with a quiet strength and an open heart, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and courage.
He is survived by his cherished children, Amanda and Tyler Tuttle, his dear siblings and a community of friends and colleagues who were fortunate enough to have known him.
