Robin Ann Eckel, 62, of Perrysburg, died in her home on February 15, 2024. She was born in Toledo on April 26, 1961, to Robert and Roberta (Reinbolt) Spanfellner. She was a 1979 graduate of McAuley High School and pursued a 30-plus year nursing career after attending Mercy School of Nursing. Robin married her high school sweetheart on August 9, 1986, and together they raised three children. She enjoyed animals, boating, camping, canning and gardening.

She leaves behind her husband, Douglas; daughters, Andrea (Ross) Lenke, Alyssa Eckel; her son, Brett (Jessica) Eckel, and grandchildren, Bowen, Birdie, Loretta and Walker.

A celebration of Robin’s life will be held at a later date.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Wood County Humane Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
