Beverly Jean Hoeflinger, 84, of Perrysburg, passed away at Kingston of Perrysburg on December 27, 2023. Born in Toledo, to Virginia and William Robert (Bob) Boyce, she attended and graduated from Waite High School.
Her career began at Hoeflinger Real Estate, then continued at NFO Research and she retired from the City of Perrysburg. A devoted family lady and active St. Rose parishioner, Beverly’s life centered around her family, friends and parish.
Beverly and Jack Hoeflinger, her childhood sweetheart and husband since 1959, cherished their three daughters, Judy, Kelly and Tricia, and their extended family, including nine grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Beverly’s outgoing, uplifting nature and her positive influence will be fondly remembered.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Judy King, and brother, Bob Boyce. She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Hoeflinger; daughters, Judy (Dave) Zollars, Kelly (Terry) Bates and Tricia Hoeflinger Heath, along with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
A visitation took place at the Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg, on Friday, December 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, December 30, at 1 p.m., at St. Rose Parish, 215 East Front Street, Perrysburg. Interment followed at St. Rose Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Alzheimer’s Association will be appreciated.
