The December 19 Perrysburg city council meeting saw the end of term for President, Jonathan Smith and Councilwoman Jan Materni. Both were presented proclamations at the meeting by Mayor Tom Mackin.

On December 16, residents of the Perrysburg Heights neighborhood at the northeast corner of State Route 25 and Roachton Road in Perrysburg Township celebrated a milestone. The community turned 100.

The Kiwanis Club of Perrysburg meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month, at noon, at Scramblers, 25690 North Dixie Highway. New members and visitors are always welcome.

Each month, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wood County hosts a chip-in day for community members to volunteer and give back. The volunteers can help in the NAMI office with tasks and projects such as data entry, folding, scrapbooking, filing, making phone calls and more.
