The quality of the calories consumed goes a long way toward determining how nutritious a diet is.

United Way to re-open community grant applications

United Way of Greater Toledo (UWGT) announces the re-opening of its community grant application. This is the second threeyear grant cycle offered by the organization through its collective impact model of funding. UWGT is committed to providing essential funding to local programs addressing critical issues in education, financial stability, health and housing.

Billboards feature Keep Christ in Christmas contest winners

The Knights of Columbus, Perrysburg Council 7978, recognized winners of the Keep Christ in Christmas poster contest, displaying the winning entries on billboards in the Perrysburg area. Above is one of the December 2022 winning entries. It was submitted by Evie Johnson, a student at St. Rose School, for placement this December. The billboard is on State Route 199, south of the roundabout at Carronade Drive.
