The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) and the Capitol Square Foundation have selected the 2024 Great Ohioan Award recipients. The foundation chose the individuals from nominations submitted by citizens and organizations throughout the state.

Due to a recent change in state school funding through the Fair School Funding Plan, Perrysburg school district is transitioning to tuition- free all day kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. It will be offered districtwide at each elementary school. Families are encouraged to complete enrollment by March 15 to ensure their child receives placement at their home school building.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wood County is a self-help organization offering events, educational classes, support groups and other programs that address mental health. It has a variety of programming throughout the year that is free and available to all Wood County residents.

The Perrysburg High School tennis program is offering a summer camp for students who will be in grades 6 to 9 this fall. Camp will be held at Perrysburg tennis center, 1750 Progress Drive.

Notre Dame Academy (NDA) has expanded their “Amazon Future Engineer” program into the Junior Academy. For five years, NDA has partnered with Amazon to ensure its students have access to highcaliber computer science curriculum and coursework.
