Patricia Joan Lemle Travis departed this life on May 26, 2021, after a long struggle with breast cancer and most recently pancreatic cancer. She was born on December 15, 1953, in Toledo, Ohio, to Lloyd Paul and Rose Irene Pitzen Lemle and grew up in Perrysburg.

Patricia was a talented woman, learning to play the piano at a young age and moving on to become a skilled seamstress/tailor in Perrysburg and Florida, creating PJ’s Sewing. Later, after her relocation to Florida, she established her business, Leaf Design Interiorscaping, in Seffner, where she delivered and maintained plants at professional locations around the Tampa area. She also worked at A Focus on Fitness. Over the last 20 years, Patricia actively participated in charities related to breast cancer survivors, such as Race for the Cure and the Affirmations Project.

She is survived by her husband, Boyd Travis; sons, David (Dana Meza) Romaker and Kyle Romaker; stepson, Dale (Nicole) Travis, and grandchildren, Dean, Addison, Jane, Brett and Jacobi Romaker. Her siblings, Lloyd Paul (Connie) Lemle Jr., Jean Landrum Lafarree, Arlene (Dennis) Rinaldo, Denise Lemle, Linda (Rick) Stemen, Tony (Tammie) Lemle; aunts, Elna Glace and Harriet Pitzen, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews survive her.

Her parents and brothers, Glenn and Phillip, preceded her in death.

She will be greatly missed by her close friends who have been with her throughout her illness, especially those from A Focus on Fitness and the women of the Affirmations Project.

The family would like to thank nurses, Bill Giguere, RN, and Shelby Hakes, CNA, and especially Fr. Tom Coover of Life Path Hospice who visited and prayed with Patricia and family. And a special thanks to sister, Denise, who stayed with Patricia during her last weeks.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 19, at the Schaller Memorial in Perrysburg, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An early memorial was held ∏in Florida. Burial will be private.
