Mary A. Nicodemus, 97, formerly of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully Friday, March 3, 2023. She was born April 30, 1925, in Perrysburg, to William and Evalena (Reitzel) Swartz.

Mary was an avid card player and treasured the time spent with her family.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Cyndi (Stephen) Roach; grandson, Joshua (Corinne) Roach, and greatgrandchildren, Lily and Caden. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norbert; son, Craig, and siblings, William Swartz, Blanche Bonnough and Fern Bringman.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 8, with interment at Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Toledo, where she was a member. Arrangements were handled by Eggleston Meinert and Pavley Funeral Home.
