Gary Ross Samples of Perrysburg, passed away at the age of 82, on January 10, 2021, at Browning Masonic Community in Waterville, Ohio. He was born April 11, 1938, in Elyria, Ohio, to Robert Ross Samples and Mary Catherine (Gordon) Samples.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeannette (Jan) Caress Samples; daughters, Elizabeth Samples Ury and Julie Rebekah Samples; granddaughter, Hannah Christine Ury, and his sister, Linda (Samples) Warner.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, August 14, from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m., at Perrysburg First United Methodist Church, 200 W. Second Street, Perrysburg, with a Celebration of Life Service at 11:15 a.m., at the church. Gary was laid to rest in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
