Brian Thomas Demers, 46, of Perrysburg, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital in Toledo. Brian was born May 28, 1975, in Toledo, Ohio, to Bruce Jr. and Judith (Coyne) Demers. He worked for UPS as a delivery driver for more than 20 years. Brian loved playing softball; he was an all-star pitcher and played for many different teams, including the Ducks and MonStars. He loved attending his daughters’ volleyball games and spending time with his girls. Brian was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed going to the lake.
Brian is survived by his daughters, Brittany Demers, Breanna Demers and Bella Demers; his mother, Judith; siblings, Michelle (Kenneth) Thomas and Kelly Pacynski; his co-parenting partner, Alison Chamberlain, and his precious dogs, Oreo and Zeke. He was preceded in death by his father, Bruce Jr., and his brother, Bruce Demers III.
Friends and family will be received Thursday, October 7, from 2 to 8 p.m., at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Visitation will continue Friday, October 8, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the funeral home, with a funeral service beginning at 3 p.m.
