Dr. Nancy Kurfess Johnson will share stories from her book, “The Doctor Wears Pearls,” at Way Library on Wednesday, June 8, at 2 p.m.

Dr. Johnson was born and raised on a farm in Luckey. Her book traces her journey from life on a local farm to earning her medical degree and becoming the first female boardcertified OB/GYN in private practice in a large metropolis.
