Law enforcement and first responders from Perrysburg, Perrysburg Township and Rossford remind residents of the importance of buckling up, whether as a driver or passenger. City Fire Chief Rudy Ruiz also encourages residents with youngsters to contact the department to ensure car seats are properly harnessed in a vehicle.

With Memorial Day just around the corner and with it the busy summer traveling season, Safe Communities of Wood County hosted a kick off to the annual Click It or Ticket campaign.
Held May 17 at Mercy Hospital Perrysburg, the event featured a host of area first responders and law enforcement, all reminding the motoring public of the importance of buckling up behind the wheel or as a passenger.
