Carol Ann Cotter Crowley went to her everlasting home on Sunday, March 12, 2022. Carol was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 25, 1939, to Frederick W. and Blanche M. (Arcand) Cotter. She graduated from Our Lady Catholic boarding school in Chicago.

After a transfer to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Carol met and married the love of her life, Thomas A. Crowley, who preceded her in death. Tom and Carol married in May of 1964. Soon after, Carol left a promising career, as a young banker with a fabulous shoe collection, to follow her true calling, that of wife and World’s Greatest Mother to her two daughters (and the countless friends who called her “Mom” themselves).

In 1976, Carol set her on eyes on Perrysburg, purchasing a house and creating a home for Tom and the girls. This is where roots would be planted, and a family would bloom for parts of the next five decades.

While she was always up for a night of dancing, a little bingo or a quick (wink!) trip to the casino, her greatest hobby was being a grandmother. For 20-plus years, she was always ready to shuttle, cook or chaperone, and always had a needle and thread at the ready.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Kathleen Crowley and Colleen Fisher; son-in-law, Kevin Fisher; very special granddaughter, Chelsea Fisher, and grandpups, Jethro and Stanley. Carol also is survived by brother-in-law, James Crowley, and special nieces and nephew. She was preceded in death by both her parents; her sister, Barbara Daviera, and infant son, Jimmy.

A gathering of family and friends was held from 6 to 8:00 p.m., with praying of the Rosary at 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 16, at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 East South Boundary Street, Perrysburg.
