Third-graders at St. Rose Catholic School returned this fall from a field trip to see wind turbines in Bowling Green and were spurred on to create their own models of alternative energy sources.

“After studying different forms of energy, along with renewable and non-renewable resources, the children listened to a true story, ‘The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind,’” explained principal Dr. Bryon Borgelt.
