Four teams from Belmont Country Club traveled to Las Vegas last week to compete in the 22nd Ohio Northern PGA Las Vegas Pro-Am Tournament at Bear’s Best Golf Course.

Each team was composed of one Belmont pro and three amateurs.

Mr. Welch noted that Mr. Stone is hoping to qualify for the U.S. Senior Open in 2022.

“He has a good chance,” Mr. Welch said.
