Jessica Elizabeth Palmer, 31, of Whitehouse, Ohio, passed away quietly at home while she slept on October 9, 2021. Jess was born on October 12, 1989, in Cleveland, to Raymond and Lisa (Soeder) Frey. She graduated from Perrysburg High School in 2008, where she enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball and softball. She may not have been a star athlete, but she was always a star teammate.
Jessica worked in daycare before realizing her dream of being a stay-at-home mom and recently began offering childcare in her home. She was an exceptional organizer and planner. She enjoyed meal prepping, crafts, raising chickens and feeding and identifying the native birds. She loved spending time with her son, Jameson, and her nieces and nephews. She married Gene Palmer
She married Gene Palmer on September 29, 2012. He survives along with son, Jameson; her parents, Raymond and Lisa Frey; siblings, Erika (James Schoenhofer) Frey and Raymond (Emily) Frey; mother-in-law and fathers-in law, Teresa (Nelson) Scheub and Gene Palmer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Cory (Katlyn) Triggs, Corey Long and Natasha Triggs; nieces and nephews, Madilyn, Carly, Taylor, and Emery, Scotty, Mason, Kyler, Sylas and Oliver, and best friend, Nicole (Jason) Truax. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Norman Soeder, John and Mary Frey, and Gene and Mary Palmer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 17, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 6603 Providence Street, Whitehouse. The funeral service will be on Monday, October 18, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please
