A Perrysburg resident was indicted by a Wood County grand jury on September 15.

Lester W. Lortz, 57, of McCutcheonville Road, was indicted for theft from a person in a protected class, a felony of the fifth degree, stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred April 7, 2019.

If convicted, he faces up to one year in prison and fines of $2,500.
