Shelby Roe of Perrysburg is among several Penta Career Center students to earn awards during the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference held in Nashville in late June.

Shelby, who studied early childhood education at Penta, took third place for the Teach and Train contest. She receives a $20,000 scholarship to Sullivan University.
