Perrysburg resident Ellie Miller, 7, is doing a fundraiser this month for the Toledo Area Humane Society.

“We visited the humane society to learn more about what they do there,” her mother Sarah Miller said. “Ellie is selling greeting card boxes that contain 30 cards each and cost $30.”

Mrs. Miller said more than 50 percent of the sales will go to the humane society.
